WatchBP is changing the way primary care physicians measure patient blood pressure and leading to more accurate hypertension diagnoses and treatments.
The Microlife WatchBP solution helps busy primary care physicians reduce an over-reliance on single, doctor-office blood pressure measurements by providing the tools needed to systematically combine measurements taken in the doctor’s office with home measurements taken by patients in-between office visits. The result of these combined measurements is an accurate assessment of patient blood pressure, and, in turn, more accurate diagnoses and better patient outcomes.1
Strictly follows recommended blood pressure measurement guidelines
The Microlife WatchBP solution consists of the world's only blood pressure measurement devices to embed physician-recommended blood pressure measurement protocols.(2) By strictly following blood pressure measurement protocols promoted by leading medical societies such as the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) and American Heart Association (AHA), the WatchBP solution helps physicians circumvent many of the issues associated with traditional doctor-office blood pressure measurements, eliminates physician concerns with the reliability of home blood pressure measurements.
Developed in collaboration with leading hypertension specialists
The Microlife WatchBP solution is the result of over two years of dialogue and collaboration between Microlife and hypertension specialists, hypertension societies, and leading primary care physicians. The result of this dialogue and collaboration is the world's only in-office and out-of-office blood pressure measurement solution, designed specifically for the physician-guided, patient-centered collection of blood pressure measurements.
A complete family of measurement devices
The Microlife WatchBP solution does not rely on a single device for all measurements. Instead, WatchBP features a suite of blood pressure measurement devices designed for unique measurements requirements in the doctor’s office and patient’s home. These devices include WatchBP office – a clinical blood pressure measurement device for use in the doctor’s office; WatchBP O3 – a hybrid blood pressure measurement device that incorporates an ambulatory blood pressure measurement function and a guideline-recommended 7-day self blood pressure measurement function for use outside the doctor’s office; and WatchBP home – a blood pressure measurement device for use in the patient’s home that includes the recommended 7-day self measurement and standard measurement functions. As a result, physicians can easily collect, combine, and analyze data from each of these devices using WatchBP Analyzer software.
